Shining Inheritance (2009)

Shining Inheritance (2009), also known as Brilliant Legacy, tells the heartfelt journey of Go Eun Sung (played by Han Hyo Joo), whose life takes a dramatic turn after returning from New York. With dreams of helping her autistic brother, Eun Woo, study music abroad, Eun Sung returns to Korea only to cross paths with Sun Woo Hwan (Lee Seung Ki) arrogant heir summoned home to inherit his grandmother Jang Sook Ja’s food company. A mistaken luggage swap on their flight home sets the stage for a series of misunderstandings between the two.

Eun Sung’s life spirals into tragedy when her father, Go Pyung Joong, is presumed dead in a gas explosion after a thief steals his wallet.
